Founder
Rooted was founded by Rob Miller, a lifelong builder at heart, who envisioned a more sustainable way to grow food at home. Driven by a passion for design, community, and environmental impact, Rob set out to create beautiful, functional backyard systems that empower people to grow their own food—even in the smallest of spaces. Rooted combines his belief in self-sufficiency with a deep respect for nature, transforming everyday fences into living, edible ecosystems.
Chris Breikss
Partner, Growth Manager
Chris is a growth-focused entrepreneur with a background in digital marketing, sustainability, and e-commerce. As Head of Growth at Rooted, he leads strategy, partnerships, and community expansion. Chris has spent the past 3 years championing water conservation through innovative consumer products, helping households reduce their water usage. His work is driven by a desire to make environmental change both accessible and actionable. At Rooted, he brings that same mission to the garden—empowering people to grow their own food with less water, less effort, and more joy.
